French Toast Bake

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 lb. French bread or Challah (1 inch slices)
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups half and half
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Combine corn syrup, butter, and brown sugar. Heat until melted.
  2. Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Pour in mixture.
  3. Place bread in pan.
  4. Beat eggs, half and half, vanilla, and salt. Pour over bread.
  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
