Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. corn syrup
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 lb. French bread or Challah (1 inch slices)
- 5 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups half and half
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Instructions
- Combine corn syrup, butter, and brown sugar. Heat until melted.
- Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Pour in mixture.
- Place bread in pan.
- Beat eggs, half and half, vanilla, and salt. Pour over bread.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
